This is the ultimate rose harvester.

The cut and hold feature holds the stem until you release. Pick roses without the threat of thorns. Durable high strength aluminum construction with a high carbon blade that has a 3/8 inch cutting capacity. Length: 2 ft. - Weight: 14 oz.

As soon as I removed the "Short Reach Cut & Hold Pruner" from the shipping packaging, I was thrilled to see that it is so obviously a well-made, QUALITY product. Blade is sharp, everything is tight, not at all loosey-goosey like cheap products.

Works as advertised!! Except I would say that for the Satusuma mandarin oranges which I am harvesting from way above my head, it only "holds" 90% of the time. Maybe there is some trick I haven't learned yet? In any case, FAR better to have them fall to the ground 10% of the time, instead of 100% of the time. Considering the price of fresh fruit these days, purchasing this product is a no-brainer.
